The YPMP is a general management program that aims at helping young professionals transform into business leaders. The program complements pedantic rigor with a practical approach. It allows you to identify your key strengths and improve your soft-skills. Its proprietary framework would equip you with necessary expertise for decision-making and leadership. Graduates with minimum 2 years full time work experience are eligible to apply for this course.

The program is structured around contemporary management subjects. These are being delivered through case-studies, team-projects, research, industry interaction and class-room lectures. It envelops the entire gamut of general management topics and would prepare you to identify your area of specialization. This program offered at Infinity Business School is a fast track program being administered for a period of 11 months divided over five academic terms.

Objective

The 11-month Young Professionals Management Program is designed for professionals who want to improvise their knowledge and skills and grow into middle management roles in industry. The program combines intensive classroom learning with a reflective strategy to enable students to test their judgment and evolve as leaders. The program is specifically designed to equip a student to respond to complex Business situations given the dynamic nature of the Global Business Environment. Students are offered placement opportunities through the institute upon the successful completion of this course.

Pedagogy

The pedagogy of this program assumes the prior work experience of the student and hence offer a specific fast track approach to a modular and progressive learning. It emphasizes on the development of the student’s skills and how the same could be employed on real life Business Solutions. A high level of emphasis is laid out on team work, projects , familiarity with emerging Global Trends, cross discipline application and most importantly development of soft skills.

The course also encompasses and builds on the unique experience of peer group learning as also an interaction with the young and dynamic mind set of the Freshers who constitute a part of the regular Post graduate Management program at Infinity Business School. A few of the courses. are intertwined with the regular two year batch students. This offers the constituents an opportunity to exchange fresh ideas and involve themselves in a challenging pedantic environment.

Admission Process

Eligibility

o  All aspiring applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in 10+2+3 system.

o  Candidates should have a minimum of two (2) years of full time work experience upon completion of graduation.

The candidate would need to furnish proof of the same along with the application.

Application

All interested candidates are required to complete the application form to the Admissions office along with the necessary documents as suggested. The candidates should attach a letter from the employer confirming the duration of the work experience.

Admission Process

The Admission Process for the YPMP program is based on the following parameters

o  Performance in the Entrance Test

o  Written Evaluation

o  Two Rounds of Personal Interview

All students interested in admission into the YPMP program at Infinity Business School are required to obtain the application form for a cost of Rs 1500/-. The application form can be obtained by either of the two ways:

The application form collects the basic personal, educational and work experience details of the candidates. The form includes a few short essays that assess the student’s interests, aspirations and career perspective. These essays go a long way in the assessment of the candidate.

Students who download the application form, need to attach a local cheque / demand draft for an amount of Rs. 1500/- favouring “ Infinity Business School” and send the same along with the duly completed application form at the following address:

The Program Office would inform all candidates about the date, time and venue of the admission test , essays & interview to be conducted.

Students who have secured a CAT score of 75 percentile or more / GMAT score of 600+, would be exempted from the first stage of the admission process. They would be required to attach a photocopy of the relevant Test Score along with the application form and proceed directly to the essay writing / interviews stage of the selection process. Other students would be required to appear for the Entrance Test and would then be invited for the essay writing / interview stage.

The final selection of candidates would be done after a very careful evaluation of the applicant’s personality, work experience and the admission form. Admission offers would be extended to successful candidates within 10 days of their interview with the admissions office.

Fee Structure

The fee structure for the 11 month Young Professional Management Program (YPMP) covers tuition, instructions and course reading material, access to and the use of the Library and the Computer Center and the embedded workshops/ proprietary soft skills program.

Batch of 2012-2013 : Rs 5,25,000

As per latest notification no. 8/2009-ST dated February 24, 2009 of Service Tax Act, 10% Service Tax and 3% Educational Cess are to be levied on the fees, which are in addition to the above. (These service tax and educational cess rates are subject to change as per government guidelines).
