Mr. Vishwavir Ahuja

Mr. Ahuja assumed his present assignment as Country Manager for India on May 1, 2001.

He is based in Mumbai. Mr. Ahuja has been with Bank of America for more than 20 years

with assignments in the U.S and all four metros branches of the Bank of America India's

Corporate & Investment Banking Group, Credit Administration, Treasury and Corporate

Planning.

In his previous assignment, spanning over a period of 4 years, as the Head of Corporate &

Investment Banking, Mr. Ahuja was responsible for managing Bank of America's corporate

relationships in India and business development activities throughout the Indian sub continent

,across a broad range of products and services, including project finance, domestic and

international capital raising, credit, trade finance, FX, treasury services, cash management

and Investment Banking.

In his various assignments with the Bank, Mr. Ahuja has built strong relationships with heads

of leading Indian business houses, financial institutions, and the large MNCs. He has also

been integrally involved with relevant Ministries on the Government's  privatization program

for transactions with which Bank of America has been associated.

Mr. Ahuja is on the Board of Directors of Zuari Industries Ltd., India, and on the Board of

Governors of the National Institute of Bank Management. He is also Member of the Executive

Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, India.

Mr Ahuja holds an M.B.A degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad

(1981) followed by an MS degree in Finance from the University of Michigan (U.S.A.)

(1982). He has an undergraduate degree in B.Com (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of

Commerce, New Delhi (1979).
